Our history and vision
Established in 2000, Eye Surgery Associates was founded by a consortium of subspecialist ophthalmologists committed to delivering tertiary-level ophthalmic care. Our founding vision centered on creating a collaborative practice model where patients and referring practitioners would have access to a comprehensive team of fellowship-trained subspecialists. This approach enables seamless care coordination, leverages complementary clinical expertise, and establishes enduring patient-physician relationships that support both immediate treatment needs and long-term ocular health management.

Over more than two decades, Eye Surgery Associates has successfully realized its founding vision, cultivating lasting relationships with both patients and referring physicians that demonstrate our commitment to clinical excellence. Our practice has expanded significantly from four founding members to a current team of 19 ophthalmologists, supported by more than 25 clinical and administrative professionals who are dedicated to meeting our patients' evolving healthcare needs.
