We are delighted to introduce Dr Farshad Ghazanfari at the Vermont Consulting Suites Located on – Level 3

Dr Farshad Ghazanfari is a Consultant Physician in Acute and General Medicine.

Farshad’s main consulting rooms are located in Ringwood East. He also consults at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Kew, Wantirna, Mulgrave, Vermont South and Fitzroy.

Subspecialty interests include:

  • Rheumatology and musculoskeletal medicine
  • Osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease
  • Pre-operative and Orthogeriatric medicine
  • Fibromyalgia and chronic musculoskeletal pain management
  • Low level Laser for pain and arthritis management
  • Sports medicine
  • Bariatric and metabolic medicine

Farshad has lectured at a number of different universities over the last 5 years, continues his research into Rheumatology and the geriatric population across Australia. Also, he won awards from the Australian Rheumatology Association and the Eastern Health Research Symposium. His research projects has been published in a number of rheumatology journals.
